On arrival you will be checked in and be given a detailed briefing for the rest of your safari.Today you will visit the biggest open air market in Africa-Merkato, Mount Entoto with its St. Mary church, St. George cathedral, the National Museum where the most famous hominid skeleton of “LUCY” (3.2 million years old) is found, Trinity Cathedral with its unique architectural design. 2 Bahir Dar
Fly from Addis Ababa to Bahir Dar and full day boat excursion to visit the 14th century ancient monasteries of Narga Sillassie, Ura Kidanemihret on Lake Tana. These old monasteries are very impressive and known for their decorated mural paintings from the17th century and also are rich of museums with collections of books from the 14th century, crowns of medieval kings, crosses and more. En route visit the out let of the Blue Nile River from the lake. Overnight at the Hotel
  3 Bahir Dar
After Breakfast we will drive 33 Km from Bahir Dar to the village of ‘Tiss Abay’. Up on arrival, walk for about 20 minutes’ to reach the waterfall. Visit the water fall and proceed driving back to Bahir Dar. Afternoon City tour in Bahir Dar to visit the panorama view of Bezawit hill-top where you will see the mouth of Blue Nile River from Lake Tana and finally visit the 17th Century Jesuit ruminant church building built by the Spanish missionary Pero Pais in the compound of St. George Church. 4 Gondor
Fly from Bahir Dar to Gondar and city tour to visit the 17th Century royal enclosure, Bath of king Fasiledes and the monastery of Debre Birhan Sillassie. Overnight at the hotel.
5 Gondor ~ Simien Mountains National Park
Early drive from Gondar to Simien Mountains National Park and be in awe of the fascinating landscape of the park, (if you are lucky) you will see the endemic Galada baboon, Walia Ibex and the Ethiopian Wolf. On the same time enjoy the endemic plants such as giant Lobilia Abissinian rose, and spend the rest of the day trekking in the park. Overnight at the Hotel
 
6 Lalibela
Fly to Lalibela and visit the rock-hewn churches. The marvelous rock-hewn churches of Lalibela are the 8th wonder of the world. Cut out of a solid red volcanic rock, some completely hidden in deep trenches, while others stand in open dug out caves and a complex series of tunnels and narrow passageways connecting the churches. In Lalibela, after an early breakfast we will start to visit with the first group of churches namely Bete Medahenialem, Bete Mariam, Bete Meskel,Bete Golgotha & Bete Danagil. Afternoon visit the 2nd groups like Bete Emanuel,Bete Merkoriose,Bete Libanose,Bete Gebereil and Rapheal,and Bete Libanose. Overnight at the Hotel
  7 Lalibela
Morning excursion to one church out of Lalibela town. Drive to Genete Mariam (by car) or Asheten Mariam church (to reach by foot or mules). And drive back to hotel. Overnight at the Hotel
8 Axum
Fly to Axum and visit Axum. Axum is the seat of ancient Ethiopian Civilization. In Axum you will visit the granite Stele/obelisk which weighs 160 tones. Visit the tomb of king Kaleb and Geber Mesekel & the stele park, archeological museum. Afternoon visit the 16th Century cathedral of St Marry of Zion church. In its sanctuary the original Ark of the Covenant is guarded. Overnight at the Hotel
